In our house, we choose to save Christmas present money and put it towards things such as holidays in the New Year, so we can experience something together- instead of presents we may only use once! Buying an experience, or a weekend getaway, for a loved one this Christmas can be a much more creative, personal idea than a gift that you may buy in a rush at the last minute (don’t worry, we have all been there!). Especially after nearly two years of social distancing, wearing masks and being cooped up at home- being able to learn something new or visit somewhere new can be an exciting activity to look forward to.
At our Upholstery Workshops, our clients learn a range of new upholstery skills, take time to relax and get creative and at the end of the day have a bespoke piece of furniture to take home. An item to treasure forever and a reminder of the joy that comes from learning and experiencing new things.
We have a range of one day and two-day workshops available where we will provide guidance on how to make some of our signature pieces of furniture. There is our Crate Workshop, Stool Workshops, Deep Buttoned Footstool Workshops and Bench Workshops to choose from. These are great workshops to do with friends or individually.
