You may never have considered upholstery as a hobby because you thought it was out of reach. I’m going to share with you what you need to get you started and it’s surprisingly not as much as you think!
When I create new workshops I’m always trying to make sure you get the most value out of them. How do I do this? I look at how you can reuse the skills again and again so that you get the value for more than that day.
Sustainability has always been an important part of our business values, from repurposing old furniture and giving it a new lease of life, through to our custom ranges of furniture that were built from reclaimed wood & sustainable materials.
I’ve always been interested in understanding how things are made. My career before upholstery was in Corporate Retail working for The Co-op Food within Trading and Own Brand Development. I had the opportunity to work with suppliers and manufacturers to sustainably source my own label food products.
