My husband bought me the stool workshop day as a Christmas gift. It was absolutely fantastic. The communication leading upto the day was brilliant, Emma was amazingly helpful and patient in both the weeks before and the day itself.

My daughter and I have had a fantastic day on the upholstery workshop creating a cushion for a crate to use for extra storage for any room. Great to sit on to and put your feet up! Having limited knowledge of upholstery it was a great way to learn about what tools are needed and how to go about building the cushion. The day was well planned out and every stage covered and absolutely no time pressure in fact the time flew by. What a sense of achievement getting the corners just right and the buttons perfectly in place. Above all for me was the opportunity for my daughter and I to get together to make a special memory after a year pretty much apart. A great workshop.

I had received the Crate workshop as a birthday gift from my husband and had a simply wonderful day. The setting in the old chapel is lovely and we had such a nice group of people too. Emma is a fabulous teacher, everything is explained so well and you don’t feel rushed at all.  We had such fun being creative and all the while knowing we would be walking away with a piece of furniture we can keep, I even got to make my own buttons. Every time I walk past my crate I can’t help but smile at what I achieved. I would highly recommend this wonderful relaxing and fun way to spend a day. Its given me a real insight into how much work goes into making proper furniture but also given me the confidence to give other projects a go.
