On this one-day introductory interior design course, we’ll help you find your own personal interior style – what do you love and hate about your current interiors. What makes you happy in your home.
We’ll share our skills, passion and knowledge to show you how to create your own digital board for a room of your choice, giving you the skills, solutions and inspiration you need to potentially tackle the rest of your house if you want to.
- We go through a simple 13 step design process which you can use again and again. Sharing where you need to start in the planning process rather than just choosing paint!
- I show you around my home sharing real life examples to give you ideas and inspiration.
- Tips on how to research, without trawling round millions of shops, and getting lost down a rabbit hole on pinterest.
- Budgeting for your project.
- Recommendations on the latest apps you can use to help with visualisation.
- We show you what free application to use so you can design a digital mood board at home.
The workshop all takes in Emma’s beautiful home in Scholar Green, set in the Cheshire countryside. You’ll get plenty of one-to-one attention, learning together in a relaxed, sociable environment where no experience is required.
Come along with a room in mind so that we can discuss your ideas in detail. We don’t complete a project on the day but you are equipped with the tools to be able to continue your research and plan and design at home. Interior design is about taking the time to research, plan, and budget so you get the room you’ve been dreaming about.
- Hot and cold drinks are provided throughout the day. You will need to bring your own lunch.
