Looking for a Console table that’s different from the norm, that’s one of a kind, full of charm and character?
Then this one is surely for you. The design is inspired by Semper Hopkins Upholstery & Interiors love of industrial design and natural wood. A beautiful handmade table which is sure to add character to any room. It’s made from monkey puzzle tree. An evergreen tree that is native to central and southern Chile and western Argentina. The wood that this table has been made from has a strong connection to the family as it was from Emma’s garden, unfortunately, it had to be taken down. We wanted to do something special with the timber, which we had milled, and has been drying for a number of years. We are now able to use it to make beautiful pieces like this console.
The tabletop has been cut, levelled and sanded to a smooth finish and has been treated with hot wax oil enhancing the natural patina. There are some areas of bark left which adds to the rustic finish. It stands on a bespoke industrial scroll leg steel base made by Aclumlow Hall Forge. The table measures 119 cm wide by 72cm high by 45cm depth.
Please note that every piece of wood is different and may change when placed in a new environment. Cracks may appear and bark may loosen, however, we feel that this adds to the individual character of the wood. This table has been made for indoor use.
