DESCRIPTION:Choose to make a square buttoned stool\, storage crate\, small or large footstool\, or two seater bench. \nDiscover the different tools and materials needed for upholstery\, along with a range of upholstery techniques which are detailed in a handout for you to take away. \nThe price includes all materials and fabric. Suitable for beginners. \nYou will learn how to: \n\nStaple elasticated webbing and hessian to the wooden frame\, glueing foam to the hessian (not applicable to crate).\nPrepare the foam for square buttoning including marking out the foam\, drilling holes\, and applying dacron.\nMeasure and mark out your fabric for square buttoning.\nSewing the square panels into your fabric.\nMake your own fabric buttons.\nPleat and finish off your piece of furniture.\nFix the feet or legs to your furniture.\n\nFurniture choices – Please select your choice when booking. \n\nBench or Stool  –choose from either metal hairpin legs or mid-century style wooden legs.\nFootstool (large or small) – for the feet choose from a natural or dark wax.\n\nFabric choice: \nSustainable fabric is included. No prior experience is needed. We welcome complete beginners and guide you at your own pace. \nAt the end of the day each participant will leave with their own handcrafted leather belt\, made to their size and style.
